    The meaning behind the name:
    “AUTO” – Total Automotive Mechanical Repair
    “BODY” – Total Automotive Auto Body Collision/Restoration
    “GLASS” – Auto Glass Repair
    The company was founded in 1993 by Morley as “Modern Recovery”, a part-time towing business. Morley built his first tow truck from a 78 Chev 1 Ton Truck, which is still part of our fleet today.
    Nordal’s Auto-Body-Glass is presently owned by Morley, Debbie and Wes Nordal. Wes and Debbie joined the full time staff in 1998. In 2010, we added our second location and moved our mechanical shop to 317 First Avenue in Arborg.
    Over the course of the past 25 years, Nordal’s has increased its staff to 10 full time and 6 part time employees. Our staff consists of 7 Journeymen/qualified Technicians, 1 Service Advisor/Parts, 1 Reception/Office Clerk, 1 Office/Financial Manager.
    The part time staff consists of 2 Apprentices and 4 Janitors.

Towing

We have a 22 Foot Roll Back Deck Tow Truck and two Wrecker Body Winch Tow Trucks available 23 hours a day for private, Autopac, CAA, Roadside Assistance and other tow calls.

We are an I-Car Gold Class Approved and MPI Accredited Auto Body Repair Shop and can repair all years and makes of vehicles.

We are an MPI Certified Body Integrity Station which allows us to perform structural integrity inspections for recertifying written off vehicles.

We use MPI Mitchel Repair Centre, Mitchell Connect and Ultramate Estimating Guide Auto Parts Bridge – Collision Link for all of our collision repairs.We have a 4 car Courtesy Car Fleet.

For frame problems, we have a 26’ Black Hawk Frame Rack to handle both light and heavy frame repair in addition to an Accu Vision 3D Measuring System.Other major equipment consist of a Global Finishing Solutions Spray Booth with a paint curing bake cycle and Paint Mixing Room, Hybrid Spot Welder, etc.

The oldest vehicle we have worked on is 1928 and the newest is 2019.

We have been a Napa Autopro Mechanical Service Center since 2003.

Services we provide:

· Regular Maintenance (eg. oil changes)
· Diagnostics
· Computerized wheel alignment
· Air Conditioning - service & repair (Mopia Certified)
· Tires – remove, repair, install and balance (MPI Winter Tire Program)
· Major/minor repairs and maintenance to engines, transmissions and differentials (including overhauls)
· Fuel injection and carburetor maintenance and repair (Nordal’s is the only shop in the Interlake for carburetor overhaul)
· Complete electrical service and repair
· Complete front end and suspension repairs and service
· Four and two wheel alignments

We use a Snap-On Computer Scanning System and Internet based All Data, to diagnose and repair up to 2019 vehicles.

We are an MPI Certified Manitoba Vehicle Inspection Station covering cars and light trucks, school buses, highway tractors and trailers and air brakes.Some of the vehicles we have restored have been award winners at car shows locally and at World of Wheels.We are sticklers for detail.

In short, we can pull you out of the ditch, get your car running right and repair the body damage, all done by our professionally trained staff.Everything is done in-house to truly make us your “ONE STOP SHOP” for Automotive Repair, Maintenance and Collision Repair.

NAPA AUTOPRO 10 Year/400,000 km Limited Engine & Driveline Warranty


What is the NAPA 10/400?

A no-charge 10 year/400,000 km limited warranty covering the repair or replacement of critical engine components, including your transmission or transaxle, when you have regular and continuous service maintenance and repairs performed at any participating NAPA AUTOPRO facility in Canada.

Who qualifies for coverage?

  • · Individuals
  • · Professional associations or corporations who own or lease vehicles and who are primarily obligated to have their regular maintenance service and/or repairs performed at a dealership or retail automotive service centre.

For coverage, your vehicle must have less than 60,000 km and have been manufactured within the last 48 months.

To Maintain Coverage

Consumer Obligations: NAPA AUTOPRO consumers must record their vehicle mileage at the completion of the vehicle warranty registration. the NAPA AUTOPRO consumer must have regular and continous service maintenance performed at any participating NAPA AUTOPRO facility in canada in order to qualify. a regular service maintenance visit must include changing the qualifying vehicle’s engine, transmission, transaxle, transfer case (4 x 4 vehicles) and differential fluids with fluids that meet or exceed the original manufacturer’s requirements and at intervals that do not exceed the manufacturer’s requirements as prescribed in the vehicle’s owner manual under “severe service”, or as recommended by the vehicle’s (if so equipped) oil/fluids monitoring system, but in no instance can engine and driveline intervals exceed:


Engine Oil Changes:

  • · Exceed 8,000 kilometres using conventional or semi-synthetic based lubricants or be greater than a 4 month interval between oil and filter changes, or
  • · Exceed 10,000 kilometers using full synthetic based lubricants or be greater than a 6 month interval between oil and filter changes and


Driveline services:

  • · Exceed 100,000 kilometres or be greater than 36 months between changes for transmission/transaxle/transfer case and differential fluid and filter changes

In addition, the NAPA AUTOPRO consumer must repair significant oil/fluid/coolant leaks and perform other necessary maintenance and repairs to prevent damage to the engine or driveline which meet or exceed the original manufacturer’s requirements. NAPA AUTOPRO consumers are required to keep all service and repair invoices as proof of performance, and will be required to submit proof of performance if a claim is submitted. check with your local participating NAPA AUTOPRO service centre as they may keep your service history on file.

The NAPA 10-year/400,000 km Limited Engine & Driveline Warranty covers the repair or replacement of certain engine and driveline components against failure for up to 10 years or 400,000 km—whichever occurs first. Who qualifies for the warranty?

  • Individuals
  • Professional associations or corporations who own or lease vehicles and who are primarily obligated to have their regular maintenance or warranty maintenance service performed at a dealership (other than the manufacturer’s warranty repairs or recalls) or a retail automotive service centre.

What do I need to do to maintain my warranty coverage?
You must have your vehicle serviced exclusively at any participating NAPA AUTOPRO facility in Canada and in accordance with your vehicle manufacturer's “severe service” guidelines, including:

  • Regular oil and filter changes at intervals not exceeding 8,000 km or 4 months.*
  • Full synthetic oil and filter changes at intervals not exceeding 10,000 kilometres or 6 months.*
  • Regular transmission/transaxle/transfer case/differential fluid and filter changes at intervals not exceeding 100,000 km or 36 months—whichever occurs first.*

* You must keep copies of your service invoices.


My manufacturer suggests I may be able to travel in excess of 8,000 km between services. Who should I listen to?
Most vehicles are driven under “severe operating” conditions, as outlined in your vehicle owner’s manual, and this tends to come with a recommendation that more frequent maintenance service be performed.

It’s up to you how often you have your vehicle serviced. However, to qualify for the NAPA 10/400 Maintenance Warranty, you need to:

  • Have your vehicle serviced regularly, including a motor oil and filter change at intervals not exceeding 4 months or 8,000 km.
  • Have your transmission/transaxle/transfer case/differential serviced every 100,000 km or 36 months—whichever occurs first.
